Treatment review: Plump and Fill Hydraluronic Facial

Germaine de Capuccini’s new Plump and Fill Hydraluronic Facial promises 100% extraordinary hydration and plumpness after just one session. How does it live up to the hype? One of our Gaia Day Spa clients wrote this review after experiencing the Plump and Fill Hydraluronic Facial.

About the Plump and Fill Hydraluronic Facial

“A new dimension of hydration” is what makes this facial so special, using hyaluronic acid plus Germaine de Capuccini’s patented HLG Nanopolymer, combined with an innovative facial treatment that results in visibly denser, dewier, and more hydrated skin. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is released to the deepest layers of your skin, allowing recovery and preservation of naturally occurring HA in the skin, while the slow-release technology delivers and retains moisture reserves for longer-lasting effects. It’s a cosmetic alternative to aesthetic injections and will give your skin visible improvement in the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and hydration levels.

At an hour and 15 minutes, this facial treatment includes a specially targeted 15-20 minute hydraluronic facial massage using Germaine de Capuccini’s unique Cool Massager, a facial massage tool which is filled with liquid and immersed in cool water, then used to perform lissage movements on the face, neck, and decolletage. The facial is finished with a luxurious extra-moisture mask to help lock in hydration.

Our client’s review of the Plump and Fill Hydraluronic Facial

Here’s one Gaia Day Spa client’s review of the Plump and Fill Hydraluronic Facial:

“I’m 45, and have noticed that in recent years, and especially in wintertime, the skin on my face gets quite dull and dry. I’ve recently started using Germaine de Capuccini Timexpert Hydraluronic Hyaluronic 3D Force Moisturising Fill-In Serum in my everyday skincare routine, which has definitely improved the hydration and ‘glow’ of my skin. I was very interested in the Plump and Fill Hydraluronic Facial as I hoped it would give my skin a visible boost of suppleness and moisturisation and restore that dewy glow I have been missing.

“Kathryn explained the process of the facial to me, and what I could expect. Because its intention is to be deeply hydrating, it is a refreshing facial as well as a relaxing facial – for me, it wasn’t the kind of facial where I would fall asleep, but more an experience where I could expect to feel like my skin had been energised and brightened.

“The facial began with the application of exclusive in-spa products that were targeted to areas where my face has wrinkles and fine lines, using stimulating movements to help the product penetrate deeply into my forehead, cheekbones, lip area, sides of my nose, frown lines, eye area, neck, and decolletage. This made my skin feel like it was taking a cool drink of water – my facial skin felt immediately more hydrated and rejuvenated.

“My favourite part of this facial treatment was the hydraluronic massage using both the beauty therapist’s manual movements and the unique Cool Massager tool, which Kathryn explained that each segment has a different purpose and movement to perform during the facial. It starts out immersed in cool water, as there is liquid inside the tool which gives a thermal contrast on the skin. The manoeuvres Kathryn used during the facial massage were designed to not only provide a cooling, soothing sensation to my skin and facial contours, but also intended to plump, densify, contour, detoxify, and relax. I never realised my face had so many areas of tension that were released by the massaging movements!

“Following the facial massage, my face was covered in a special extra-moisture mask which was left on for 20 minutes while Kathryn performed an arm and hand massage. The mask was spread on like a thin gel, and over time it solidified into a jelly-like mask that Kathryn was able to gently peel off when it was finished working its magic. My skin felt so cool and refreshed at this point.

“The facial finished with moisturising and a look in the mirror at my skin, which I was thrilled to see looked much more hydrated, plump, and supple. My face felt more comfortable, dewy, and soft, which was a big change from its usual dry, tight, uncomfortable feeling when I neglect my skincare routine or when I’m out in the weather too much! My skin can be quite sensitive, and this facial made it feel soothed and refreshed.

“After the facial, I went to lunch with a friend, who commented that my skin looked great and asked what I was doing – what better testimony to how well it worked! The next morning, when I was doing my skincare routine before work, I noticed that my skin still looked dewy and fresh even before I put on skincare products. The plumping and hydrating effects lasted for at least a week after the facial, and I felt like using the accompanying Timexpert Hydraluronic products helped to extend the effects.

“This facial is one I feel would be a great monthly refresher for my skin to help hide those signs of ageing and make my skin feel younger and more resilient.”

Who is the Plump and Fill Hydraluronic Facial for?

This facial is a cosmetic alternative to medical-aesthetic filler treatments, and soothes discomfort due to extreme dryness caused by certain treatments, weather, or hormonal ageing. It’s suitable for people with all dehydrated skin types, whether your skin is normal, dry, or oily. It’s ideal for cancer patients and people with sensitive skin. While it’s a wonderful facial to indulge in for special occasions, it’s gentle enough to be a regular part of your skincare routine too.
