Germaine de Capuccini’s latest range, TIMEXPERT Hydraluronic, acts like a non-invasive “cosmetic injection” of hyaluronic acid that hydrates, plumps, and fills fine lines in just 10 days – so it says. We put their TIMEXPERT Hydraluronic 3D Force Moisturising Fill-In Serum to the test.
About Hydraluronic 3D Force
Germaine de Capuccini TIMEXPERT Hydraluronic 3D Force Moisturising Fill-In Serum combines high, medium, and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with a patented HLG nanopolymer. This delivers the hyaluronic acid and other filling ingredients into the epidermis and deep into the dermis, like a “filler injection”. The combination of ingredients also delivers long-lasting 24-hour hydration. The serum is meant to considerably improve skin volume and firmness, smoothing wrinkles and plumping skin from the inside out.
Who should use it
This serum is an essential for anyone looking for a natural plumping/fill-in effect (think wrinkles, scarring, open pores, uneven skin surface. It’s suitable for oily and scarred skin, mature skin that’s prone to dehydration and dullness, and men’s skin (and after shaving). It contains more than 99% ingredients of natural origin. It’s fragrance-free, silicone free, suitable for vegans, and dermatologically tested on sensitive skin.
How to use it
Apply two to three pumps in the morning and evening over the face, neck, and décolletage until fully absorbed. Wait a few minutes before applying moisturiser.
What we like about it
Looks aren’t everything, but TIMEXPERT Hydraluronic 3D Force Moisturising Fill-In Serum comes in a really lovely 30ml glass bottle with a silver cap that looks so elegant on my dressing table. The dispenser cap gives just the right amount so there’s no wastage – I only needed two pumps to cover my face, then another for my neck and décolletage. It takes a moment to sink into the skin, and then it just feels fresh and dewy – not heavy or greasy at all. The product itself is clear and has no fragrance, and my skin just drinks it up.
Did it live up to the hype?
Germaine de Capuccini’s TIMEXPERT Hydraluronic product trials had some pretty stellar results – up to 45% more plumpness and up to 72% more hydration in just 10 days. In addition, they carried out self-assessment tests with volunteers who rated their skin, and after three sessions, 84% of the the volunteers said they saw an improved hydration effect, and 98% saw lasting plumping of their skin.
I am a longtime fan of Germaine de Capuccini’s Hydracure Hyaluronic Force Serum, and now that I’ve entered the realm of needing anti-ageing products, I was really looking forward to trying this new TIMEXPERT Hydraluronic range. The TIMEXPERT Hydraluronic 3D Force Moisturising Fill-In Serum exceeded my expectations. Immediately after using the product for the first time, my skin felt fresh and supple to the touch, and when I looked in the mirror, I could see a visible “glow”. After 10 days, my skin felt totally revitalised, with less visible pores, rehydrated skin surface, and a feeling of “juiciness” – not a word I’d usually use, but there’s no other way to describe it!

According to Germaine de Capuccini, “14 volunteers with varied problems including extreme dryness, tightness, flaking, itching, redness, pigmentation, irritation, and other skin conditions caused by cancer treatments — for 96% of the volunteers, these alterations improved significantly and their skin stabilised.”
Additionally, 96% agreed that “It is a comforting treatment, for my skin and me.”
